MrJewell leaves a wife, 2 sons & a bro. The funeral was held Sunday at his late home on EastSt. Here a large gathering of friends & neighbors met to pay their respects to one whom they had loved & respected. Revs Harper & Forner had charge of the services. Interment was at Kinsman Cem. OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 02 Dec 1921 EMMA ARVILLA JEWELL: well-known&pioneer resident of Trumbull County; passed away Thurs evening at the home of her son-BantonC Jewell {Vanton}, terminating an illness of several weeks with complications. Announcement of the death of MrsJewell is received with keen regret by a large number of friends in Warren, Kinsman & Vernon, where she had resided. She was born in WSalemTwpPA on 8 Nov 1861 & had passed her 60th anniversary. She was a member of the ME Church all her life & had lived in Kinsman & Vernon before taking up her residence in Warren 1.5 years ago. She was a woman of exceptional character & had a wide influence in her neighborhood & among members of her family. She is survived by 2 sons: EarlK & BantonC-Warren; her aged mother: MrsJuliet Karr-Kinsman; 2 bros: JohnP Karr-Youngstown; AM Karr-Kinsman & a sis: MrsErastus Flower-TyrellHill. Service will be held Sun afternoon at the home of Vanton Jewell, when a short prayer service will be conducted by RevSB Salmon-DD, l! ater a service will be held in Vernon Methodist Church when RevHarper will deliver the eulogy & DrSalmon will assist in the service. Interment will take place in Kinsman Cem. MORE FAMILY OBITS: OH-Warren Tribune D=07 Nov 1902 HELEN L JEWEL: Vernon; 2, The little dau of Mr&Mrs Allen Jewel died Friday morn of grippe fever. She was 2 years old on the third day of July. The funeral was held at the home of her parents Sunday afternoon.
