Many thanks for your WALDECK data. My g-grandfather was not Jacob, son of Jacob and brother of Henry, and others. He was Jacob, son of Christian Waldeck and Catherine Siebert. Christian (b 1804) was a brother of your Jacob (b 1799). Both Jacob and Christian were among a number of sons and daughters of Adam Waldeck (b 1767) and Elizabeth Lenges. I have 12 families in my database who descended from Adam and migrated to USA within a short period. Most ended in Ohio, all were from or near the town of Heidesheim. My Jacob spent most of his life in busines in Elyria. The number of descendents of these people is amazing.
