This may or may not be of help. I have a Jemima Hurd b. 1734 Woodbury, Litchfield Co., CT m. to Ebenezer Andrews b. 1729 Waterbury, New Haven Co., CT. They had Elisha Andrews b. 1778 Saratoga Co., NY d. Ashtabula Co., OH. A number of Andrews families moved to Ashtabula and Trumbull Co.'s during the early 1800's from New York with roots to CT. You might look in Chenango, Broome, Madison and Delaware Co.'s of NY for your Hurd's. I am not sure of the location of Saratoga Co., but it might be worth a look in that county also. I also have Hurd's from MA.
