Butler was Elizabeth Butler Mathey's youngest brother. He was born in Mercer County, PA. Messach Butler Sr and wife Ann were born in Wales. Came to U.S.A. in 1854 via sailing vessel. The family first located in Pottsville, Schulykill County, PA. Messach, Ann and three children (all from Wales) lived in community of Branch Dale while Messach worked in the coal mine as a boss of the miners. I have quite a bit of data on the Butlers and the offsprings, but could use more on Elizabeth and her husband Felix Mathey. I have contact with two ladies, descendents of John Mathey. One lives in Ohio and the other in Florida. Please contact me if we can exchange information.I am willing to share dates and etc. in exchange for any help you can share. Doris
