    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZZB.2ACI/2680.1 Message Board Post: Annamarie, George (Georg) and Hilma appear in the 1930 US Census in Youngstown. The reference is: 1930 United States Federal Census Ohio, Mahoning Co., Youngstown, 210 McKinnie St.; Enumeration District 75, sheet 17A (See attachment) This Census indicates that they are both 46 and were married at 24. That would have put their marriage ca 1908 and probably in Sweden. George immigrated in 1909 and was naturalized, but Hilma did not immigrate until 1923. So, it seems probable that Georg came over ca 1909 and went back to Sweden, returning to the US at some later time. He does appear in the 1920 Census in Warren, but without Hilma. The reference is: 1920 United States Federal Census Ohio, Trumbull Co., Warren Ward 2, 418 Washington Ave.; Enumeration District 265, sheet 17A (See attachment) There is no indication of a daughter in either Census, which leads to 2 possibilities: 1) she was in Sweden with her mother in 1920 and then married and living away from her parents by 1930, or 2) she was not born until after 1930. Since you knew of her in the 1940s as a married woman with children, possibility 1 seems the more likely one. Probably the best way to trace the family between Censuses is with City Directories which can be found at The Trumbull County Local History & Genealogy Center. You can reach them at http://www.wtcpl.lib.oh.us/lh&g.htm I hope this is of some help. Dave Williams
