She was born 26 Jul 1917 in Gustavus, a dau of Niram & Lula Logan Hine. MrsBetts was employed as a clerk at Bob's Market 10 years. She was a member of Kinsman United Presbyterian Church, Mary Circle, Chat&Patch Club & Senior Citizens Bowling League. Survivors include her husband Lee Betts, whom she married 26 May 1934; 4 children: Audrey "Peg" Betts-Warren; Jane Timko-Brookfield; Ronald-Cortland; Thomas-Kinsman; 2 sis: Florence Parise & Mary Bauer-Niles; a bro: Alton Hine-Slidell LA; 8 grandchildren & a gr grandchild. A sis-Laura Keesecker & a bro-Ivan Hine preceded her in death. Service will be held Sat afternoon at Baumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem. OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 07 Nov 1993 LEE C BETTS: Kinsman; 82, died Saturday at Greenville Regional Hosp. He was born 13 May 1911, a son of Lee & Ida Curtis Betts. He lived his entire life in the Kinsman area. MrBetts was a farmer, but also worked as head custodian at Joseph Badger High School from 1968-1981. He was a member of Kinsman Presbyterian Church & Kinsman Grange. MrBetts married the former RuthL Hine on 26 May 1934, she died in 1981. He is survived by 4 children: Ronald-Cortland; Thomas-Kinsman; MissAudrey Betts-Warren; Jane (MrsNicholas Timko-Howland; a bro: Glenn Bates-Kinsman; 2 sis: Helen(MrsJoe) Adams-ClearwaterFL; Marian (MrsCharles) Dubeck-NewtonFalls; 8 grandchildren & 6 gr grandchildren. Two sis: MrsGeorge Miller & MrsJesse Elfring are deceased. Service will be Tues morn at Baumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Greenville Regional Hosp.
