A lifetime resident of Trumbull County, she was a member of Leavittsburg First Community Church, its Ladies Aid Society & WFarmington Chapter 44-OES. Survivors include her husband Clair McAllister whom she married 22 Nov 1924; a son: Carroll-Champion; 2 sis: Irene Lehman-Warren; Sylvia Dorsey-HackerValley WV & 7 grandchildren. A bro-Charles Solinger, preceded her in death. Service will be held Thurs afternoon at Robert Roberts Memorial Home. Entombment will be in CrownHill Mausoleum. OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 20 Mar 1993 CLAIR McALLISTER: Champion; 90, died Fri morn of natural causes in Autumn Hills Care Center-Niles. MrMcAllister was born 9 Feb 1903 in AllisterWV, a son of Charles Ambert & MarthaJane Bland McAllister. He owned a construction company from 1942-45, then was co-founder & president of McAllister & Morgan Lumber Co & McAllister & Morgan Construction Co in Champion until he retired in 1962. He was a 70 year member of Leavittsburg First Community Church where he was a trustee for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening, traveling & farming; he raised Hereford beef cattle at his farm in Champion. He was also a charter member of Champion Rotary Club. His wife the former Gladys Solinger whom he married 22 Nov 1924, died 13 Jul 1981. He leaves a son: Carroll-Champion; a sis: Geraldine Dye-Cortland & 7 grandchildren. Five sisters: Gayle Brock, Bonnie Morgan, Day Long, Bessie & Madge McAllister & 3 bros: Noble, Rayn & Temple preceded him in death. Service will be Mon afternoon at Robert Roberts ! Memorial Home. Entombment will be in CrownHill Mausoleum.
