She had been ill for several years & death was caused by complications. She was born 4 Oct 1911 in KennardPA & attended Kinsman school. MrsHerman was a member of Kinsman Methodist Church, Kinsman Grange & the Ladies Aux-Kinsman Volunteer FireDept. She is survived by her husband RoyG Herman, whom she married in 1927; her father MB Betts; a son Wilbur-Howland; a sis: MrsNellie Garrison-Clark PA & a bro: CO Smock-Sharon. Service will be held Fri afternoon at McCurdy Funeral Home. OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 20 Oct 1970 ROY G HERMAN: Kinsman; 73, died early Mon morn at his residence. He was born 17 Jan 1897 in CairoOH, a son of Charles & Caroline Galbrieth Herman. MrHerman was a resident of Kinsman for 58 years coming from Lima. He was an employee of Trumbull Lamp Plant-General Electric Co prior to his retirement several years ago. He attended StateLine United Methodist Church. He was a 50 year member of Kinsman Lodge 734-IOOF & a past noble grand. He was a life member of Kinsman Volunteer FireDept & a member of Kinsman Grange-2019. Survivors include a son: RoyW-Kinsman; 2 grandchildren; 1 gr grandchild & several nieces-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Helen Betts; 1 sis & 2 bros. Service will be held Thurs afternoon at Baumgardner Funeral Home. A service will be conducted by Mahoning Lodge 29-IOOF, tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem.
