A resident of LinesvillePA since 1944, he was born 23 Oct 1893 in UnionCityIN, a son of William & Anna Peden. He operated a farm in Kinsman from 1928-1944. Since moving to Linesville, he had operated Linesville Red&White Grocery & with his son Floyd, Peden Frozen Food Locker Plant. He was a member of Linesville Grange & Lions Club. Besides his mother of Kinsman, he leaves his wife, the former Florence Fitch, whom he married in 1911; 2 children MrsWaveline Tate; Lloyd-both Linesville; 2 sis: MrsAlma Brooks-Kinsman & MrsViola Rhoades-Union City; a bro: Fred-Kinsman & 5 grandchildren. Service will be held Fri afternoom at McCurdy Funeral Home. {Interment in Kinsman Cem} OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 07 Nov 1985 FLORENCE IDA PEDEN: Linesville; 93, died Wednesday in Rolling Fields Nursing Home-Conneautville. She was born 12 Oct 1892 in Kinsman, a dau of OS & Emma Kinney Fitch. Her husband C Virgil Peden died 11 Jan 1955. A resident here most of her life, MrsPeden was a member of Kinsman United Methodist Church & Kinsman Golden Aires. Survivors include 2 children: Wavalene(MrsCharles) Tate-Linesville; Lloyd-FtMyersFL; 4 grandchildren; 14 gr grandchildren & 5 gr gr grandchildren. A sis, 4 bros & a grandson preceded her in death. The funeral will be Fri afternoon at William Houghton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem.
