OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 01 Oct 1946 ZORA HUNTER BATES: Kinsman; 71,died Mon evening at her home. She had been in failing health for sometime. MrsBetts lived in Kinsman since her marriage to MBoyd Betts 3 Sep 1902. She was 17 Apr 1875 in WSalemTwp, a dau of Alvin & Margaret Artman Hunter. She taught school at NewCastle & various district schools in WesternPA. MrsBetts was a member of Kinsman Congregational & Presbyterian Church, Kinsman Chapter-OES, the Grange, the Ideal Club & the GoodWill Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband, a foster dau: MrsHelen Irene Herman; a grandson & 3 bros: Wayne-Greenville; Blaine-Fredonia & Otis-Sharpsville. Another bro: WilburH was killed in an auto accident in TrumbullCnty a week ago. Last rites will be held Thurs afternoon at McCurdy Funeral Home with RevLH Stebbins-Congregational & Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Kinsman Cem. NOTE: Dcert states mother is MaryAnn Artman OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 12 Jan 1967 BOYD BETTS: Kinsman; 94, died Tues evening at his home. He was born here 26 Mar 1872, a son of James & Sina Hobart Betts. His wife Zora Hunter Betts died in 1946. A lifetime resident here, he had served 17 years as a Township trustee. He was a member of Kinsman Presbyterian Church, Gustavus Lodge-442-F&AM & Kinsman Grange. Survivors include a grandson Roy Wilbur Herman-Kinsman; 2 gr grandchildren & several nieces-nephews. A dau: MrsHelen Herman died in 1955. Service will be held Sat afternoon at Baumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem.
