OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 25 Mar 1937 ELIZABETH BARRETT: Leavittsburg; 54, died yesterday afternoon at City Hosp of complications after a brief illness. MrsBarrett was born in PlumCreekMN 25 Jul 1882, a dau of John & Irene Bates Soules. She had lived in Leavittsburg the last 19 years residing in Warren before that time. She was a member of Leavittsburg Community Church & a Sunday School teacher in that church. Surviving are her husband Charles; 3 children: JohnCharles-at home; MrsJE Parker-Akron; MrsFP Clemmens-Leavittsburg; 6 grandchildren; a bro: Charles Soules-Brookfield & sis: MrsEmma Solinger-Leavittsburg. Service will be conducted Sat afternoon at Leavittsburg Community Church with RevBurrows officiating. {Interment in CrownHill Burial Park} OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 16 Aug 1941 CHARLES C BARRETT: Warren; 61, died Fri afternoon of a coronary thrombosis despite the efforts of the first aid crew of the Central Fire Dept to revive him with a pulmotor while he was being rushed to StJoseph Hosp. Barrett was stricken by the attack at the corner of South SE&S ParkAve about 2:30pm Fri. The emergency squad was called from the fire station & administered respiratory aid with a pulmotor until Hall Ambulance arrived to rush him to the hosp. Firemen continued their efforts all the way to the hosp but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. MrBarrett was born in Canada 2 Mar 1880 & had lived in Warren for the last 35 years. He was an electric millright at Niles RollingMill & member of Leavittsbrg Community Church. He is survived by a son: John-stationed at FtBraggNC; 2 stepdaus: MrsFP Clemmens-Leavittsburg & MrsJames Parker-Akron. Arrangements at Carl Hall Funeral Home are incomplete. Interment will be made in CrownHill Cem.
