MrsHayes had been in failing health for several months. She was a native of Trumbull County & was born in KinsmanTwp 3 Sep 1867. She resided in Trumbull County her entire life with the exception of 15 years at SharonPA. She had lived in Warren for the last 18 years. MrsHayes became a member of Kinsman Methodist Church at an early age & was a member of the Ladies Aux of the National Assn of Letter Carriers. Surviving are her husband; her mother MrsJulia Sharp-Kinsman; 1 bro: RJ Sharp-CarnegieOK. Service will be conducted Tues afternoon at Carl Hall Funeral Home, RevLC Hayes will be the officiating minister. Burial in WestStreet Cem-Hartford. OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 25 Oct 1948 BERT H HAYES: Warren; 79, retired mail carrier, died of a stroke Sat evening at StJoseph Hosp, having been ill only 1 day. He was employed as a salesman at Darr's Pharmacy. He was born in MtPleasant IA 30 Mar 1869, a son of AaronB & MaryE Hawkins Hayes, most of his life was spent in this vicinity. He had lived in Warren for the past 25 years. His wife-MinnieB Sharp preceded him in death 10 years ago. He leaves a sis: MissEmma Hayes-Cleveland; 2 bros: Charles-SharonPA & Forrest Hayes-Cleveland. The deceased was a member of Second Christian Church & of the National Assn of Letter Carriers. Service will be held Tues afternoon at White Funeral Home in charge of RevEC Bobbitt. Interment will be in WestStreet Cem-Hartford.
