The microfilms are available at numerous libraries across the country, especially at LDS (Mormon) Church Family History Libraries and online at: http://www.ancestry.com/ Censuses are available every 10 years from 1790 through 1930, except for 1890 which was destroyed by a fire in the Department of Commerce Building in Washington in 1922. All the Censuses have now been completely indexed which makes the task vastly easier than it was even as recently as five years ago. There is also the Ellis Island site at: http://www.ellisisland.org/ I would suggest you visit that next to see if you can find your ancestors' immigration records. Dave Williams
