I don't know why I didn't think about locating the PHONE number before. BUT I HAVE IT now. For anyone that wants to inquire about Burials at NILES CITY CEM. - you can call 330 652 3295 ( 7-3 M-fri) I have called the City of NILES (PARKS/CEM dept) but since I inquired about an OLD burial - they just could not locate that information. I think the City of Niles ( CEMETERY PLOT dept) is trying to organize those records. The more recent [ BURIAL ]records may be more ACCESSIBLE to them, but not exactly the older ones. SO, I had better luck calling NILES CITY CEMETERY. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Linda, There are a lot of Young's in Trumbull Co., had to scan 30 pages of names as they are only indexed by last name. Hubbard Twp. Oakhill Union Cemetery D. Thomas Young, husband, 1890 to 1917, there is no "wife" for him on this plot, but he would have been young, so his wife may well have married and is buried else where. Brookfield- Center Cemetery John M. Young, Civil War Vet 7/11/1877 27th year ( appears that he would have been in the war very young, but if this is your John, there would be more information on him through his CW records) buried in the same cemetery is Caroline Young, 3/29/1885 70 yrs, probably not his wife, even a little old for a mother, might not even be the same family. Weathersfield Twp. Niles Union Cemetery-soldiers John Young Civil War, Kerr Cemetery is the last heading before his name.
