He was in the 1850 Census, Warren Tnshp, Trumbull and then dissapeared. He was 66 but most of his family lived into their 80's. He was mentioned in the book "History of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties". I did all the usual searches with zero results. Several years ago I received information from Hortense Wilkinson of Fremont, NE. She had researched all the Coats/Coates families there.
