    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: SandyRead48 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.ohio.counties.trumbull/5133.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Checking the 1870 census, Cornelia ERNEST was born ca 1843. She must be the same Cornelia ERNST who was born in OH 12 Sep 1842 and died in Warren Twp, Trumbull, OH, 12 Oct 1909. Information on her death certificate was given by a Mrs. George HUNTER, I believe is the last name. There was a Jessie Lavina HUNTER who died in 1940 in Warren, Trumbull, OH, husband's name George, parents Comfort and Cornelia ERNST. There was another daughter of Comfort and Cornelia who died in 1947 - Harriet M. BENEDICT. If these were his known sisters then it must be the right Albert in census. The 1880 census shows C.A., Cornelia, Albert C., Harriet M. and Jessie L. all living together in Warren, Trumbull, OH. There was no death certificate for Albert C. ERNST or ERNEST. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: spreetaper Surnames: Ernst Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.ohio.counties.trumbull/5133/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm attempting to find the birth records of Albert C Ernst, born in March 1868. Records of the family show them bouncing back and forth between Lawrence, PA and Trumbull, OH, but I believe he was born in Ohio. I found an Albert C Ernest listed in an 1870 census as the son of "Comfort A Ernest" married to a Cornelia with the correct time frames, but since I have no other cross reference to know if this is the correct parents names, I'm unsure due to the miss spelling. Any help would be much appreciated! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [OHTRUMBU] Birth/Death Records
    2. Friends--- Can someone please advise how to determine if a birth and death record is accurate and does exist. I have a family record that a son was born on Feb 28 1902 and died two days later on March 2 1902. Can someone please advise how I could obtain this information/record. I think the parents lived in Trumbull (or possibly Mahoning) County. Any help will be very much appreciated. Sincerely, George in CA **************Access 350+ FREE radio stations anytime from anywhere on the web. Get the Radio Toolbar! 3. The library in Warren has a genealogy center and they are most helpful, Check their Web page. They have obits, but I have not had much luck going back that far, but it is always worth a try. Mercer's genealogy library is in Sharon, but has limited hours. In Mercer, on Pitt St. is the Mercer County Historical Society which has a great deal of information on line and at the center, and is open every day but Sunday. Happy Hunting.
