    2. I am brand new to this list, so I'm not quite sure this it the type of question to post to this list, but here goes. My ancestor Lydia Wert was born 1830 probably in Bazetta Twp. She died as Lydia Durst (M. William Durst) in 1908, and was married in 1850. Supposedly this all took place in Bazetta. She is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Bazetta Twp. Here's my question: I'm trying to locate a document with her parents names on them. Since no birth records were kept in 1830, I wondered if anyone knows how to find out what churches were in the area at the time. I thought maybe a christening record might have their names on it. I think her parents were Philip Wert and Mary Ann???. If this is true, the family had just come from PA, where they were very strongly tied to the Lutheran Church. I contacted a Lutheran pastor in Cortland, but he says he doesn't know of any churches in the area that far back. Help!!! I have ordered a marriage record and death record for her from the Trumbull Co Archives. I doubt the parents names are on these records though. There is an IGI record for Lydia Wert's marriage to William Durst. The marriage record was apparently used to create the IGI and no parent names are mentioned. I also believe Lydia had a sister who married William's brother. Phebe Wert b. 1828 m. David Durst in 1851. I am also looking up the 1830 census, but since that is the year Lydia was born, she may not be on it. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated. Bobbie

    1. [OHTRUMBU-L] Warren Enumeration Districts in 1920
    2. Mike Curley and Nancy Dow
    3. Hello all, I want to order the 1920 census for Warren from my local FHC. They have two microfilm reels for Trumbull county and they list the enumeration districts that are on each reel. So, if I can figure out which enumeration districts were associated with Warren, I'm hoping I can order only one of the reels. Is there a kind soul out there who can tell me which enumeration districts were associated with Warren in 1920? Thank you for any help you can provide. Nancy Dow Austin, TX

    3. I recently responded to Carol Jo's request for a copy of ONE PAGE of The History of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties, by offering to make a PDF copy of the page and sending it. Several people have misunderstood, and apparently think I have the entire two volumes in PDF. Please, folks, I do not; and it would be nearly impossible to copy and convert the books. I am sorry that I cannot respond to the requests; but, I would if I could. Dave Brittain

    3. I have been stuck for 30 years now on a Betty ELDRED b abt 1761 (I don't know where ) and died in Warren Ohio Mar 19, 1819. She married Banjamin Sackett who was born in Warren Ohio on July 28, 1762 and died at Warren April 3, 1844 - the son of Capt John Sackett and Lydia Newcomb. Does anyone have any Eldred ancestors in Trumbull County or any county near Trumbull county. (I note that the Sackett and Austin family married into families living down in Canfield, Ohio in the next county south of Trumbull.. so I gather they traveled abit.) Would greatly appreciate any clues at all on Betty Eldred! Thank you all for any help you can give, Nancy Whitman nancyw@hypernet.com
