The Atlas data has been scanned at 400 dpi and is presented in high quality Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). Table of Contents includes: Counties, Cities, Agriculture, Canals, Climate Map, Climatology, Colleges, County Evolution, Land Grants of Ohio, Geological Map, Geology, History, Schools and Seminaries, Post Offices, Railways, Statistics and Surveys of Ohio. Multiple adjacent county maps are primarily useful for identifying 1868 transportation routes, railroads, canals, streams and rivers, cities, towns and villages, and early Ohio place names. The 25 city maps in the Atlas are much more detailed with many early government and industrial sites including: * schools, churches and cemeteries * streets, roads and railways * rivers, streams and canals * race tracks and fair grounds * post offices and government sites * industrial sites, furnaces and mills * hospitals and asylums and much, much more The Adobe Acrobat Reader for MS Windows is needed to view, zoom, pan and print from the PDF map images contained in this atlas; and is included free on each CD. No other software is necessary. The map data has been created and configured using the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader (6.0) for MS Windows (98, 98SE, XP, NT and 2000). The maps may be viewed in earlier versions of the software as well; however, optimum use of the data can be expected using the Adobe Reader 6.0 that is included on this CD. 3. Forgive me but I have not looked at my records for about 3 years and right now I am in the midst of recovering files from two computer crashes and very disorganized. I have a Diana Watkins Ayres who married Amos Ayres in Trumbull County about 1843. I have seen the name spelled both ways. My spelling is taken from her letters. Taking that into account I believe Amos could be your 16 yr living in Trumbull in 1840. I do know Amos family came from Boston. I have seen a copy of the marriage record but can't lay my hand on it now. It was recorded in Warren Ohio. . This couple had a number of children, moved to Wisconsin about 1850 and later to Kansas/Missouri. Amos' family did originate in Boston. I have a number of original letters between Diana living in Hubbard and Brother Stephen (who proceeded her to Wis.) which include family and neighbor gossip. I will try to take a look for the names you mention (Celinda sounds familiar) Sorry to be so vague. I hope to have more later in the summer or early fall and will keep your email address. Also feel free to contact me now and also in another couple of months if you don't hear from me.
