Hi: I am sending this again because I noticed the last time I sent it the message was full of strange symbols and very hard to read. I am interested in pictures of Reuben Craver / Graber and his wife Lydia Anthony. They are my gg-grandparents. I had some pictures of them once and made the mistake of taking them over to my sister-in-law's house and forgot to bring them home. She, only being interested in the present, threw them out. That was 50 years ago and I have never forgiven her. Reuben and Lydia were married in 1830 and came to Ohio as a couple. He had been here before with his family, Andrew Craver and Elisabeth Fulweiler, and lived in Canfield. When he came back with his bride they settled in Jackson Twp., Trumbull Co., Ohio. Does anyone reading this list have, or know who might have, pictures of this couple? They had a son Owen, who married Catherine Kistler, and a daughter Angeline who married Reuben Kale. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mary Lou Craver Mariner

She married Nathaniel Lockwood Sr, son of Joseph Lockwood Sr and Margery Webb, on 2 Jan 1742/43 at Stamford, Fairfield, CT. I have more but would rather send it to your e-mail, it's quite long. A great secondary source for this family is: "Theophilus (106) Hunt and William Browne; some of Their Ancestry & Descendents, including information on the families of Dayton, Johnston, Lockwood, Seely & Simonds" by Stanley Browne Hunt, printed by the author, April 1969, which I found in the library at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland. Pat Rooney of St. Paul, MN sent me some info on Seymour's immediate family. By the way, you may see misinformation about this family. There is no good evidence that it descends from an English noble by the name of Ralph Hunt, although that is sometimes claimed.

He is buried in the Baptist Cemetary, New Bedford, Lawrence County, PA (just across the border from Trumbull County, Ohio). His grave has a War of 1812 medallion and the Cemetary Honor Roll (monument) for the war lists him as having served; however, there is no record of his service in either the National Archives or the listing of Ohio and Pennsylvania War of 1812 veterans. Any info anyone can provide regarding his service (or non-service) will be appreciated.
