Somewhere in Youngstown or Warren in October 1995 there lived a woman by the name of Elizabeth Bess STOUDT. She died at that time and she was my aunt, the first cousin of my mother Marie BALL who died in Clearfield County, PA in 1996. I have been told by cousins that Aunt Bess was living with a relative, maybe a grandaughter named Lisa but the cousins have also lost contact. Aunt Bess was in a nursing home at Warren, Trumbull, OH 44481 at the time of her death according to the Ohio Deaths 1958-2000 on Ancestry.com. her husband Harry STOUDT had already died probably in Clearfield, Clearfield County, PA. You can tell I did not live there at the time or I would have stayed in better contact. They are both now buried in Hillcrest Cemetery at Clearfield, PA. If anyone knows my family members, I would like you to tell them to contact me. DO NOT POST TO THIS PUBLIC site but just tell me you know them or tell them to contact me. Claire White

Mr. Lovejoy: Thank you for responding to my query re Barnabus C. Harris. To add to the question, the 1810 US Census has Barnabus C. Harris in Coitsville, Ohio. In this regard, his son Barnabus T. Harris was born in 1811 in Coitsville, Ohio. The 1820 US Census has him in Pulaski, PA. He is buried in the Baptist Cemetary in New Bedford, PA (near New Wilmington). The Cemetary has an 1812 veterans memorial honor roll with a date of 1814. Barnabus C. Harris is listed. His grave has a Veteran of The War of 1812 medalion (grave marker) on it. I can find no record of his service. I have checked the National Archives, and the Ohio and Pennsylvania listings. He is nowhere to be found. My questions related to identification, if any, of the unit in which he served and if possible, his dates of service. Any assistance you can provide will be appreciated. Again, thank you for your response.
