She was my 4th great-grandmother, and I also am descended through her son James White. A distant relation to James White's wife, Elizabeth Erwin (dau of Christopher) was Joshua Poulson - who married a Catherine Pittenger, dau of Daniel. I've wondered whether that Pittenger family is closely related to Fannie. I don't have dates of birth or death yet, but Daniel Pittenger would probably have been born about 1800 +/- a few years. His daughter Catherine married Poulson in 1859. I have much more information about the White family and would appreciate any clues about where to go next in my search for the right Pittenger family of NJ. Thank you. Judy Davison
