He was born in Akron, Ohio, and attended the University of Akron before joining the U S Maritime Service and U S Navy. During his 37 years iwth General Tire and Rubber Co., he rose to the level of Assistant Treasurer. In 1978, he retired to Palm Harbor. Dell was active as a volunteer at Mease Countryside Hospital and was a member of St. Luke Evangelistic Catholic Church and the Highland Lakes Association. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rita; sons, Timothy Orr; Dennis Orr and wife, Trina; daughters, Mary Kay Lee and husband, Bob; Patricia Rizzi and husband, Matt; granchildren, Kayla Weston and husband, Peter; Matthew, Holly and Angelique Rizzi, Sean Orr,; and great-great granddaughter, Elizabeth Weston.
