Is there an obituary for Allie when she died in Summit County??? I talked to Samuel's son Archie's son Richard Strole on the phone last week, and he said his granpa and grandma Strole spoke fluent German and that Samuel married his housekeeper that came over on the boat with him as his second wife. I think things are a little confused here, because Samuel was born in Ohio and his step-brothers by his father's first wife were born in Ohio also. Possibly their father Henry Franklin Strole came over from Germany, then to Pennsylvania and then to Ohio and this housekeeper's family came over at the same time.
