    3. Hi list I am lookng for any descendants of either Chesnell , Jacob or Henry , or Chisnir descendants. I am not related. Reason I am looking for this family is we have a family portrait taken about 1900- 1930's which this looks like is man & wife and 3 sons and 4 daughters or it could be man and wife 3 sons 1 daughter and spouses. I am leaning towards the second one. This was purchased at an auction and my brother knows I think these items should be given to descendants of these families if at all possible. So he has asked me to find anyone who is descended to return this to. I checked the census records and could find nothing close to Chisnir except Chisnell. The picture was intact when we bought it but we took the paper backing off and the wood pieces and found an peices of an Akron Newspaper(no dates but several articles on marriages and anniversaries and other interesting items from the death of one person listed I can date the newspaper to Feb 1937). Then on the back of the picture is written in pencil the name Jacob Chisner. And were do you think we found the Chesnell family but in Akron, Barberton areas. Now I found 2 Jacob Chesnell's listed. one the son of Henry and Leah who is in the 1900 and 1910 census with only 1 child. So I think this is of Henry and Leah, Edwin, John, Jacob, and the daughter is either Matilda or Emma. If anyone thinks this may be their family please let me know I can take a picture of it(too big to scan) and send them privately. Please if you think this could be your family write to me as I would love to see this back with family. love Fern digging up the past for the future _________________________________________________________________ Talk to your Yahoo!
