Raber was her married name. She was married to Conrad Raber(Whose family name was originally Reber).The 1830 census said she had 3 or 4 children. Conrad died in 1826. The family trees that list him have no mention of his children.Some list Elizabeth as his wife but not her maiden name. Conrad died at age 26 and I think he and his family got lost in history. I've been trying to figure out my great grandfather's family.The family story is that his last name was Raber until the Civil War and to collect his pension the family changed to Raver. He and Elizabeth lived in several of the same areas at the same time in Ohio and Michigan(although most of his married life was in Indiana).I just really think she could be his missing mother.
