J.A.[Joseph Atlas House 15 Feb 1937] House, 36 died in the Atlas House home n the _____ road, Monday, following pneumonia and funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. E.T. Roney, with burial in Spring Grove cemetery. The desceased leaves a brother, Sidney, of Detroit, Mich., and a sister, Ruth of Kenmore,N.Y. Martin Luther Bricker, 74, died in his home in Chatham Township, Tuesday after an extended illness.[16 feb 1937] Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the United Brethern church in Morthwestern Lafayette, in charge of Rev. Paul Murphy, with burial in church cemetery there. He is survived by a widow, Harriet R. Bricker, and seven children, Nina C., at home, Paul E. of Michigan City, Ind., Mrs. Lucille Scherer, of California, Dwight , of Chatham, Homer, of Medina, abd Millard, of California, and a brother, George H., of Lehmaster, Pa. Louisa Christina Roberts, 74, passed away at the home of her daughter,[17 Feb. 1937] Mrs. Myrtle M. Huffman, in Weymouth, Wendesday. Obsequies will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 (continued on page Five) do not know if page 5 is here. Hubbell Once More To Run For Mayor Charles H. 'Time Clock" Hubbell, so well-known in Medina, and who once ran for mayor of Cleveland on a proposal to install time clocks in city hall, is after the office again. "I will be purely independant of machine control," Hubbell said in his announcement for the office now held by Harold H. Burton, Republican. The election is next fall. Hubbell, a democrat, has run for: City Council in 1903. Mayor in 1921. Lieutenant governor in 1922. Ohio supreme court in 1930. Mayor in 1933. Governor in 1934. Couple Celebrates 54th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hartman are celebrating their 54th wedding anniversary, Saturday, at their home on Bergey street, Wadsworth, that they had built 20 years ago and have lived in ever since. Mrs. Hartman was formally Emily Neager and has lived in Wadsworth since she came from Canada with her hather and four brothers when she was nine years old. When she was 22 she was married to Clarence Hartman, a carpenter by trade. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Goff, of the Reformed church, at the bride's home. Mr. Hartman is one year her senior, 76 years of age, and was born and raised in Ohio, and has never had a sick day in his life, although he has met with accidents which have interfered with his trade. The Hartmans had seven daughters and four are now living. Mrs. Casenhiser and Mrs. Milo Gruver live in the same neighborhoood, Miss Ella Hartman in Fremont and Mrs. Seiller in Columbus.
