I've lived here my entire life and never heard that one but then again, I'm not old enough but my mother is still alive 86 and that's a new one on me. But it would definately be Wolf Ledges. You can google that and click on IMAGES and see pictures of the ledges. Wolf Ledges Parkway and Grant street run parallel to one another. I would suggest contacting the library http://www.akronlibrary.org/ and if that doesn't work try the Akron Beacon Journal at Ohio.com 330-996-3000 I'm sure one of the two have old articles on microfilm. That would be my suggestion as to where to start. Interesting, St. Bernards is about 2 blocks away on Broadway which also runs parallel to Wolf Ledges and Grant st. St. Bernards was built in 1905.
