She was 79. Born June 10, 1922, Louis was a native of Akron, Ohio. She and her late husband, Daniel J. Louis, owned Louis Florist Company in Sacramento and Louis University Florist in Davis from 1947 to 2001. She participated in the Ben Ali Lions Head Ladies Unit, Ben Ali Band Ladies and the Sacramento Elks Lodge No. 6 Emblem Club. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Daniel W. Louis and Jim A. and Diana Louis of Sacramento; two grandchildren, James D. Louis of Los Angeles and Mindy D.L. Louis of San Diego; sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Lucien and Christina Louis, Lincoln and Lily Louis, Margaret Wong of Tennessee, Lilly and Leland Lee, Anna Fong of San Jose, Lena Lem and Martha and Kermit Lee; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997, and her sister, Carolyn Ong. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harry A. Nauman & Son funeral home in Sacramento, and a funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Land Park Chapel of Harry A. Nauman & Son. Entombment will follow in the East Lawn Mausoleum.
