The only thing I found is the 1929-1970's or so Akron Beacon Journal Index at the Akron Public Library. The book lists births, deaths and marriages, alphabetically, plus a myriad of other events that happened in those years. If you know the year an event happened you can find the date and then look at the microfilm for the full article. Going through all the books I only found one marriage and a couple of births.
