Hiter resided at 54 S. Martha Avenue in Akron, Ohio. He was 51 years old and had "an attack at his home". He was transported by Adams Ambulance to Akron City Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 11:00 AM on November 7, 1942 by Dr. Tatum. The cause of death was organic heart disease and his death certificate was signed by Dr. R.E. Amos, Coroner of Summit County. The Adams Funeral Home handled the arrangements and the place of interment is Rose Hill Cemetery. Roger
