I'm trying to find the death and/or birth record for a Carolyn or Caroline Smith, b. 1937-38, d. 1937-38 at two months of age - born and died in Akron, SUmmit, OH. Parents Mary Elaine Abraham (b. 1914 Akron, OH) and Edgar Smith (b. 1911, WVa). I've searched the http://www.ohiohistory.org/resource/statearc/ website and have four possible records: SMITH, Carol - Death date: 10/23/1936, Summit County, Volume #, Certificate #66040 SMITH, Carolyn Ina - Death date: 12/18/1936, Summit County, Volume #, Certificate #79962 SMITH, Carolyn Jean - Death date: 9/28/1937, Summit County, Volume #, Certificate #59401 SMITH, Catherine - Death date: 12/31/1937, Summit County, Volume #, Certificate #79328 Of these, Carolyn Jean looks the most likely to me. However, I don't want to order all four and then find out than none of them are my great aunt. Is there another way to find this death and birth cert? I'd like to be sure I have the right Cert# before I order it. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Christina
