Thanks for the hint is it the books from the Akron Beacon Journal in the files in the Genealogy section is where I would find the info. The problem is I know he died but I don't know when he died. But, before I pursue I will check the Akron City Directory for Edward and Gertrude Halter Hetzel. If he is gone Gertrude will be listed as widow of Edward.
