Dear Paul, Yes, I was referring to the Hotel Anthony Wayne in downtown Akron. I grew up in Akron, and worked for a few years at General Hospital. I thought I remembered a sign, years ago, downtown, I think around O'Neil's some where.....But anyway a couple years ago, I was at an antiques auction, and saw a sign, an old metal one, blue background with white lettering, that said (daa,.. the whole point of the story) HOTEL ANTHONY WAYNE so... I bought it. I had never been there, and just thought I remembered it in Akron....just wondered about its history, and if it still existed. I did try looking in the yellow pages, but didn't see it.
