Hello Again, I'm in the process of transcribing the contact catalogue of a Betty Jane Grade School (Darrow Rd. & Newton Street in East Akron, Ohio) Reunion (1988?...the history lists the Principals and teachers from 1937 to "1988 to the present"...so it may be 1989). I will post the completed catalogue URL when I am finished transcribing it. In the mean time, the completed alphabetical listing of the Alumni. ADAMS through YANKULOV is online now. Though the school opened in 1927, the earliest contact sheet date is 1929...the latest 1969. 04-10-02 Hello Paul, My mother, Dorothy Mae Lechleitner, attended Betty Jane School the first few years it was open. I'm sure her younger sister Phyllis Lechleitner attended also; she would have been two years behind. I'm not sure about mom's older sister Louise Lechleitner - she was one year older than mom, and the information I have starts with my mother. I have the class portrait of her second grade class with Mrs. Thomas as teacher. Mom was thoughtful enough to write most of the names down on the back of the frame. Yes, the picture is still in the original frame! I'll be happy to forward this picture by email should you like. Update on the sisters: Louise passed away last year, and Phyllis lives in Florida. Does anyone have the Summit Co Cemetery Inscriptions Vol 1 who would be willing to do a lookup? In the Bath Center Cemetery, there is a Hogue on page 11 and on pages 7, 17, there are two Thompsons who I would very much appreciate a lookup on. Bonnie
