Over the years Virginia was my mother's closest high school friend. I remember Virginia as being very pretty. I don't remember her husband's first name. Their address is listed in most of my mother's address books as Virginia Penrod, but the Christmas card address book has W. Penrod on Hawkins St. in Akron.
