William's mother's first name was Eleanor ?. Know he came to Rock Island, County, Illinois around 1853. Can't find anything on him before that. Can any one help me? Would like to find names of their parents. Think he was born in Pa. and her in New York state. Also maiden name of Eleanor if known. Think she was born in Pa. also. According to census of 1850.
