I have some King/Steele information strangely obtained from my local paper in Akron Ohio. It starts with: Judge Leicecster King who was a major landowner who had been friends with Akron founder Simon Perkins and was instrumental in bringing the Pennsylvania & Ohio Canal to Akron. His son David Leicester King b. 1826 m. Bettie Steele in Charleston WV in 1849 (Virginia then) They had 5 children. I have their names and notes on David and Bettie. Bettie comes from Robert Steele and Ellen Lewis. No further information on them. Ellen was the daughter of Howell Lewis whose parents were Fielding Lewis and Betty Washington (George's sister) and my 1st cousin like 8 times removed.
