E. Church held their regular meeting in the social rooms of the church Monday evening with thirteen members and two out of town visitors, Mrs. Carl Gillem and David of Coolville. Hostesses were Mrs. Nevada Quinn and Mrs. Phyllis Barber. Mr. Jerry McDonald and brother Homer have returned to Greensboro, S.C. after visiting with their grandmother, Mrs. Bertha Elders and other relatives and friends here. Recent visitiors of Mrs. Betty Sabo and Frances were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Duffy, Jackie, David, and Mrs. Grace Duffy of Nelsonville; Mrs. Mona Graham of Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Sabo, Randy and Cheryl of the Plains. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sorrell, Alan and Mary Kaye visited with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dixon and family at New Lexington, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Starkey and son Glen of Bremen, visited with the latter's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Craft, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Drake and children from Glouster, visited with the latter's grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Howard Craft, Sunday. Mrs. Betty Sabo attended an Avon meeting at Logan, Friday. Mrs. Mary Sorrell, Mrs. Ella Wolfe, Miss Anna Carroll, Mrs. Betty Sabo and Frances, Gladys Smith, Mr. John Podoske, Mr. George Check were among recent business visitors of Nelsonville. Mr. Elroy Short of Zanesville spent Saturday with his mother Mrs. Ruth Short. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sanborn of Newark, were Sunday visitors of their parents, Mr. Wilburt Sanborn of Murray City and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Peacock of Orbiston. Mrs. Marlene Mitchell, daughter Lori and Mrs. Audrey Mitchell, spent Tuesday at Newark visiting Mrs. Carolyn Crothers and Mrs. Pat Dearing. Mrs. Andrew Verba, Peggy Ann, Andrew, Johnnie and Mike, spent over the weekend with Mrs. Andrew's parents Mr. and Mrs. John Nagy at Cleveland. Misses Helen Campbell and Judy Wooten, employed at Athens, spent over the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Campbell and Johnnie and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wooten. Mr. Lawrence Short attended the Ohio State - Northwestern football game at Columbus, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Campbell, sons Gregg and Curt of Logan, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Campbell, Helen and Johnnie, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Quinton Quinn spent Sunday with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Quinn and family at Glouster. Mr. Quinn is recovering from a double fracture of the right ankle, due to a fall in his barbershop here a few weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Harden and daughter of Willoughby are visiting with the former's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hayes. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sorrell of Columbus, spent over the weekend with the latter's grandmother, Mrs. Ella Wolfe. Mr. John O'Kulish of Columbus, spent Saturday here and accompanied Mr. Lesters Sorrell, son Alan, and Mr. Harold Sorrel to their cottage on the Muskingum River, for the day. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Orndorf, daughter Carrie, have returned to their home at Columbus after visiting with relatives and friends here. The latter's mother Mrs. Nancy Sorrell, accompanied them home for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lewis of Williamsburg spent over the weekend with his mother Mrs. Dottie Lewis. Mr and Mrs. Bernard Franklin of Barberton were recent guests of the formers sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Six. While here they also visited with the latter's aunts at Jobs, also at the Greenlawn Cemtery, returning home from here, will go to visit with their son-in-law and daughter at Florida for two months. Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Six and children Mark, Kathy, and Lori were recent visitors of the latter's mother Mrs. Bernie McDonald at Buchtel. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mitchell, daughters Sandra, Karen and Lori of Barberton, recently spent the day with the latter's mother Mrs. Naomi Robinson at Orbiston, and also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ike Mitchell and family at Murray. Mr. Lawrence Short attended the ball game at Columbus Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sorrell, Alan, and Mary Kaye spent Sunday with relatives at Columbus. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wilson of Chauncey visited with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wilson and family Friday. The latter's mother Nancy Sorrell, who is visiting in the Wilson home, accompanied them here and visited with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sorrell, Alan and mary Kaye.
