    3. Hi Peggy, I've contacted the library. It was the Akron Beacon Journal itself that I tried and wasn't met with interest in my investigation, because the info I was looking for concerned a family "story" I'd been told and thought something might have been published about an abandoned vehicle and a person being missing. As for the phone/address directories, I'm hunting a specific address for a specific time frame for my g-grandfather Howard E. Bishop so I can do (an expensive) census hunt. But perhaps now with the library being put back together, I will have to ask for research help into articles relating to published disappearances of the 1930s. Do you have the email addie for the research librarian? Thanks for the info.
