It's the only clue I've gotten about Chapmans in 1800s Summit County besides the Brit conscript captured War of 1812 that settled and decided to stay. So few early details are documentable. Earliest known was ABC's student listing showing that he lived 1879 and 1879 with "Mr. Chapman", whichever one that was. Born about 1866, blood type AB.
