I have just learned that Holy Cross cemetery on Waterloo Rd. will only give information on 3 gravesites for free; after that it is $1.00 each! I have taken photos for people at Glendale and other Akron cemeteries where I had to ask for the information. Retrieving it took no longer than 5 minutes, even if hauling out old ledgers from Civil War days. I was never charged, even when I was given a map, which I always offered to pay for. Has anyone else come across this? I also had called Cirello who handles Rose Hill the other day long distance. I was given information on 9 sites with no problem! This policy seems to be a deterent to those doing genealogy. Noreen in Oregon
