By any chance is Gerald Croskey in the current City Directory? Even a telephone number. I called Archie Strole's grandson (Nellie's nephew) in Ohio and talked to him for some time. He said the name once was spelled STROHL. His name was Richard Strole and my husband's brother Richard Strole died a few years ago and I did not tell him I called this man. So he was almost in shock when he told me Richard Strole was on the phone and he even sounded like my husband's dead brother. I had gotten his son Richard's phone number from the Special Collections Dept at Akron Library and left a message for him to call me if he was related to Archie and Ethelean Strole. It was in an old email from a year ago. So, we should never give up. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I just found a picture of Mattie Davis and daughter Viola Viers taken around 1910 to 1913. Viola looks to be about 3 to 6 years old and she was born in 1908 to Paul and Mattie Ward Viers. I think she married Paul Viers in 1907 because the 1910 census states she had been married 3 years. Mattie's parents were Henry Franklin and Mary Helmick Strole.
