    1. [OHSUMMIT] A New Request
    2. Jobes Family
    3. I am trying to locate the cemetery in which my grandfather's first wife is buried. Her second husband, George Weyant, is buried in the Glendale Cemetery in Akron. Supposedly, Martha, the name of my grandfather's first wife, died in Miamisburg, Montgomery County, Ohio, from injuries that she sustained in a car accident. Therefore, I do not know if she was buried in Miamisburg, or if she is buried next to her second husband, George. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! 3. In the Akron Beacon Journal, 7 June 1989 there is an obit for a Martha E. Weyant who died in Dayton, Ohio. If this is the same Martha, she is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Mogadore, Ohio. She had a son Charles W. Whetsell who died 14 Apr 1988 who is also buried in Greenwood Cemetery. 2. Janean Ray
    3. Well there was a question posted to the list last week about the rag man and many people hadn't heard about it so that's where the "mystery" came from. Mom never said he came into the house..... just came around collecting old clothes people were going to throw out so he/they could sell them for money. Lot's of people were sharing little stories about things they did remember about the "boogey man" so to speak and variations thereof. I was just letting those who were in on the boogey man discussion know that my mom confirmed the Rag Man story. My mother claims though that the rag man basically was asking for donations that people were going to throw away anyway...... so he himself could later sell to make money. He didn't pay for the old clothes - he was poor and raggedy himself, out of work, too old to go to war, basically a street person......... hence the threat to misbehaving children that they would be given to the rag man if they weren't good. Now a days we'd be accused of psychological abuse.
