    3. Robert & Mary, children: Washington, Perry, Geo W., Margaret, Louisa, Mary & Elura (sp?) Was said that Robert was "booted" from the place they lived in 1850 census Boston Twp Summit Co. Where did they disappear to? Where did the boys end up at? Where did the other two girls end up at? who did they marry? Elura (sp?) and Mary in 1860 Lorain Co OH seperate households "keeping house". Also found older sister Eliza & husband Daniel W. Hinckley/Hinkley in Lorain Co OH with a family name of Peck, Hermon/ Herman and Lydia. Have posted to GENEALOGY-LOOKUP@rootsweb.com, PECK@rootsweb.com, genforum,genealogy.com/Peck and so far no reponses to my posts looking for information on these people. Possibly Robert & Mary changed their names and left Summit Co for Lorain Co? Can anyone tell me if I am on the right track? Thanks so much for your help. No marriage records in Lorain Co for Margaret or Louisa? Did they marry in Summit Co? Who did they marry and when? Thanks so much for your help with this family.

They had an older sister Leola or Lola b 1890 she was married at this time. Up until Alice's marriage/move to Akron, the family had been in VA for about 200 years! I did meet her when I was a child & have a photo of her taken in the late 40's or early 50's. This is my group. Vance's first wife was an Akron lady, Clara Kraus. Thank you. It says Avenue on the census but it's Darrow Rd. now. She was listed as 62 putting her birth at 1868. 1920 they were living on Glenwood ct but most like that is Glenwood Ave now. Listed as 48 putting her birth at 1872. Two Shield children were living with them. I can't make out their first names real well Clauda and Vance is what it looks like. ages 27 and 23. Vital Statistics can be pricey. Why don't you try the Akron Summit Library for an obit. You can contact the Summit County Health department on Graham Rd (since she lived outside of Akron that's where you'd contact someone) for her death certificate. $17.50 is a lot less than what VitaCheck or whatever they are charges. http://www.schd.org/PAGES-COMMUNITY PROGRAMS/subpage_commprogs_MISC.html#birth http://www.akronlibrary.org/internetresources/sc/CityDirectories/index.html Good luck Janean Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
