    3. Yes, I know, but have never checked anything out on that place. That would be the logical thing to do!! However, it's not the right county. Thanks for the lookup. 1. [OHSUMMIT-L] johanna denzin
    2. Frances
    3. My gggrandma, Johanna Draheim Denzin migrated to Akron Ohio in 1883. She passed away in Akron 3-18-1886. That is the extent of the information I have. Can someone out there please provide me with any information about her; such as, did she work somewhere, where did she go to church, where did her children attend school (Ida,and Herman), any information at all. I am also interested in the same type of information for her son, Wilhelm and his wife Caroline Pofahl (Pophal). I know they came to Ohio at a later date than she did; but I don't know when. I heard they stayed with Caroline's sister for a while; but I'm not even sure what her name was. I think it was Henrietta Pofahl; but, she may have been married. I appreciate what anyone can do for me. frascona@up.net

    2. No, Waldsmith in the book Akron & Summit County. The Akron City Directory would help if you know the time period that they lived in Akron. (Barberton and Cuyahoga Falls are sometimes separate.) It lists the name of the head of household and if a widow will name the husband's first name, place of employment and address. But, the children are not listed until they are older. I found the Hunt's brothers of Anthony Hunt, and they were butchers and they had an advertisement of their Butcher shop in the directory.
