Our Jacob lived in Stark County possibly in Massillon. His children's names were John M., William Paul aka Paul William, born in 1886, Kathryn married Andrew Dyer of Tuscarawas County. Other children's names were George, Minnie, Nellie, and Lottie. I recently found the families of John, Jacob and Michael in Green Township on the 1850 census and wondered if there was a connection. I had been looking in Stark and Tuscarawas Counties. My information comes from a family bible and I have more dates to pass along. I recently learned from a cousin that the Klines were "Pennsylvania Dutch" according to the wife of William (Paul) Kline. The information that I have for Kathryn was that she was a resident of Newcomerstown and married Andrew Dyer from Sandyville. They lived in Sparta and Canton. Kathryn died in 1911 at age 31, leaving three children, Preston, Grace, and another daughter. I never tho! ught to look in Summit County since all information pointed to Stark and Tuscarawas. I am wondering now whether this might be the family I'm looking for.

Over the years Virginia was my mother's closest high school friend. I remember Virginia as being very pretty. I don't remember her husband's first name. Their address is listed in most of my mother's address books as Virginia Penrod, but the Christmas card address book has W. Penrod on Hawkins St. in Akron. Perhaps one of the phone books in the Akron Library has his name. Kathy At 10:46 PM 6/23/02 -0400, you wrote: >I noticed the name PENROD, Virginia Cummins as helping your mother. My recommendation is you scan the photo in & either post it on your web site, or send it to the Akron genealogy pages. List the names to go with it as well. Post them here also. It will save you allot of grief answering questions on maybes & give ancestors for yrs access to the photos.
