It was finally demolished I believe in the 1970's. That would be just west of where you are looking. I was looking for a relative and was told that the records are sealed unless I get a court order.

My great aunt died from TB and spent some time at Edwin Shaw in Springfield Twp. in Akron, Ohio during the early 30's. I checked the cemetery records for Edwin Shaw and she was not buried there. You need to get her death certificate. There was also as the other person wrote in Cuyahoga Falls a mental hospital called Fallsview. http://www.acorn.net/gen/finding.html
