Bartchy, 85, died suddenly this morning from a heart disease at the home of his son, Milo Bartchy, 1032 Market Ave S. Born in Canton, he had lived here the greater part of his life. He was a retired harness maker, a member of First Christian church and Rev. P. H. Welsheimer's Sunday school class. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William Stonebrook; three sons, Milo, Robert and Earl V. Bartchy of Canton; a sister, Mrs. Sue Seitz of Bay Village, O.; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The body is at the J. L. Arnold & Sons' parlors where friends may call after Saturday noon. Funeral services will be Monday at the parlors, the time to be announced later. (same newspaper, Saturday, October 21, 1936) John J. Bartchy Services for John J. Bartchy will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the J. L. Arnold & Sons' parlors. Rev. P. H. Welsheimer will conduct the services and burial will be in Westlawn cemetery.
