Dixie graduated from Point Pleasant High School with the Class of 1956. She was a mother and homemaker. Later in life, she worked as a nurse aide at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was an avid reader and loved animals. She was born May 29, 1939 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Dotson and biological parents, the late Richard Cummings and Nelda Louise Tucker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harry Bennett (formerly of Point Pleasant and Canton, Ohio, whom she married in October 1977; sons, Bruce Wayne Click and Dale Lee Click; and sister, Ruby Saali of South Carolina. Survivors include her sons, Steve Brian Click and John Lee Click and his girlfriend, Beverly Bush, all of Mount Alto; grandchildren, Coda Lee Click, Jerad Wayne Click and Curtis Dean Click; sisters, Marjorie Duff of Georgia and Toni Baker of Florida; brothers, Terry Cummings of Spencer and Aaron Summers of St. Albans; stepfather, Anthony Sikorski of Florida; and a special cousin, Doris Peters of Point Pleasant. In honor of her wishes, she will be cremated at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. Her ashes will be laid to rest upon her sons' gravesites at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant.
