I am looking for a Christian Bachtel, born in Pennsylvania ca 1771, moved to Maryland, then Stark County Ohio. He was married to Katherine Smith of Maryland. They had a son David, born 8 June 1812 in Maryland; he married Maria (Emerick ) Stom, the widow of Daniel Stom in 1852, in Stark County, Ohio. Do you think there is any connection?
